Why Manufacture Different Types of Inkjet-cartridges?
You may be wondering why there are so many different types of cartridges made for each type of
printer that is manufactured. Take the HP printers for instance; there are different types of
inkjet-cartridges made for the different models of the HP printers that are sold on the market
today. It seems like it would be easier if one size fits all, however this is not practical.
The reason is because different types of HP printers need different types of cartridges to get
the job done. Large industrial printers need larger inkjet-cartridges that are capable of doing
big jobs before running out of ink, otherwise they would be extremely irritating to use.
Smaller printers that are used in a home environment need smaller inkjet cartridges to be
compatible with these machines. No one wants a big bulky printer sitting on their computer desk
at home. It would take up too much room and be more of a burden than an accessory. You also have
HP printers that are made for small offices; these of course, are larger than printers made for
the home but smaller than what would be used in a large office. Bottom line is the only way to
accommodate the different consumer printing needs is by having a variety of models to choose from,
which in turn needs a variety of inkjet-cartridges to work properly.
